Romantic pregnancy photoshoot in Divoká Šárka, Prague

Here is my latest photoshoot in Prague, which I am super proud of!

For this session, we chose to go for a romantic, elegant vibe. We had a call with my client the day before to discuss the different outfits and accessories, and also how we’d be organized. Fernanda wanted memories of her pregnancy because it is a moment that is short, but meaningful. She wanted to include her husband in some shots, while doing also some pictures alone to celebrate her body.

She didn’t want stiff poses, as it doesn’t reflect who they are, so we focused on movements. I gave them a few directions but the goal was to let them be as much as possible. Authenticity matters more than perfectly posed shots, it looks more like them.

As a personal touch, I brought my own Polaroid camera: I think it is a great prop, because it is cute. It also helped the couple relax and interact naturally. Pavel, the husband, could even take a lovely picture of his wife with it!

I love Divoká Šárka in general, but also for photoshoots, because it’s a beautiful place and it fits perfectly the vibe we were looking for. As a big plus, it was also almost empty at that time of the day!
