Sunrise dog photoshoot in Divoká Šárka, Prague

Do you know why I recommend to do your pet photoshoots in Prague at sunrise? Keep reading to find out!

Sunrise is one of the best times to create beautiful, natural, and stress-free photos, for both you (yes, even if you have to get up early!!!) and your pet.

1- The light is magical

Early morning light is gentle and flattering. Unlike harsh sun during the day, it creates a soft glow that enhances your pet’s features. It also gives your images a unique, magical feel. Especially in places like Divoká Šárka, Stromovka Park or Letná Park, but you can have great results even in city center!

2- It’s a calm environment

Prague can get busy quickly. At sunrise, parks and streets are quiet: fewer people and dogs, less noise and distraction. This is ideal for pets who are sensitive, easily excited, or still learning to focus. A calmer setting means we capture their real personality, not a stressed version of them. We also have less background distractions on your pictures (but don’t worry, even during the day, I remove people from your photos as much as I can!)

3- A great start of your day

A sunrise session often feels more like a peaceful morning walk than a photoshoot. It’s a slow, intentional moment you share with your pet, something many clients end up enjoying just as much as the photos themselves. Because you share an experience with your dog and create unforgettable memories.

In the early morning, pets are usually well-rested, have more balance in energy, and are more comfortable in cooler temperatures (especially in summer). This helps create more authentic pictures, better focus, and a smoother experience overall.

There is something special about early mornings. Everything feels quieter and more personal, which allows you to relax, be present, and truly connect with your pet.

As a pet photographer in Prague, that’s why I love sunrise sessions. It’s not just about the light, it’s a totally unique experience.

If you’d like to plan your sunrise pet photoshoot in Prague, feel free to reach out, I’m looking forward to meeting your best friend!
